biography
Dr. Wheeler is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who consults to Neuropsychology Associates. Dr. Wheeler practices at Bronson Hospital at the Bronson Neuroscience Center along with physicians and mid-level providers of neurosurgery, neurology, physiatry, and psychiatry. He is a consultant to Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw, MI where he provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic evaluations for geropsychiatric patients. Dr. Wheeler is a member of the Bronson Hospital medical staff, the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the International Neuropsychological Society.
Dr. Wheeler earned his Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. He completed his first year of residency training (intern) at Wayne State University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences. His second and third year of residency training (postdoctoral studies) were completed at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IA. He is board-certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
